Fun Movie Night Charcuterie Board

October 14, 2021

Improve your movie night with this amazing movie night charcuterie board filled with all the best movie snacks!

Movie nights are one of our favorite things to do as a family! We love getting our pajamas on, gathering all the pillows and blankets, and snuggling up together while we watch a movie.

Much better than going out to the movie theater, in my opinion!

We had a spontaneous movie night over the weekend!

There was one thing that made this family movie night different than all the others. The delicious candy-filled charcuterie board I made!

After dinner Saturday night, we went to Walmart and picked up a bunch of our favorite snacks. I splurged and got all the junk food that we only eat occasionally. It was a special family night, so I just went for it!

Creating your Charcuterie Board

Making a charcuterie board is so fun!

There’s no “perfect” way to do it. Just choose all your favorite snacks and arrange them on your platter however you want. There’s literally no wrong way to do it!

Know what you plan to serve your snacks on before you buy them and make sure you have enough to fill the platter.

Here’s an idea of things to include in your snack board

  • Gummy worms
  • Goldfish
  • Popcorn
  • Chips
  • Cookies
  • Ice cream with toppings
  • M&M’s
  • Fruit
  • Chicken nuggets
  • Pizza rolls
  • Donuts
  • Chocolate covered pretzels
  • Meats & cheeses

You can add, remove, or switch out anything from this list with some of your favorite movie snacks.

How to create your movie night charcuterie board

Place several small bowls anywhere on your platter to hold some of the snacks. I placed the three bowls in the middle to hold the popcorn and two additional bowls to hold some of the candy.

Use any large dish or platter for your movie night charcuterie board.

Arrange all your snacks in and around the bowls however you want.

Pop your popcorn and put it in the center bowls.

Add more popcorn to any additional space you have left on the platter.

Begin snacking!

Charcuterie snack boards are so fun and easy to make! They’re even more fun to eat!

We had such a great night snacking on our delicious charcuterie board during the movie. This will most definitely become something we do for more family movie nights!
