Pregnancy is so amazing!
It’s just so incredible how women can grow their babies during pregnancy, and I think it’s so special that mothers get to know their babies for months before anyone else.
With that being said, pregnancy is tough. It’s definitely not for the weak. This is why I think moms are sometimes some of the most incredible people.
I don’t know about y’all, but pregnancy is just not really my favorite thing.
Don’t get me wrong! I am very thankful to have had two healthy pregnancies and would do it a million times over. I just wish I could be one of those women who loves everything about being pregnant.
There are parts of it that I love, definitely! Loving it all, not so much.
If you’re anything like me, you have days (or whole trimesters) that just kinda suck.
Here are a few pregnancy must-haves that will help make those rough days a little bit better.
1. Vitamins
Start taking prenatal vitamins as soon as you find out you’re pregnant, and if you’re trying to get pregnant, start taking them now.
I took these vitamins during my most recent pregnancy.
It’s better to find vitamins made from whole foods instead of the synthetic vitamins you usually see.
No, they aren’t technically prenatal vitamins, but you shouldn’t choose your vitamins based on whether or not it has the word ‘prenatal’ on the bottle. You should check to see what’s in the vitamins to make sure you and your baby are getting exactly what you need.

2. Nausea Relief
The first trimester is a hit or miss for some women. If you’ve ever had morning all-day sickness, you know how miserable it can be.
Feeling sick is the worst. During both of my pregnancies, I started getting morning sickness around week six, and it lasted until the end of the first trimester, around week 12.
My sister introduced me to these Preggie Pop Drops, and although they didn’t get rid of my sickness, they helped relieve some of that constant nauseous feeling.
3. Motivational Water Bottle
Staying hydrated during pregnancy is so important. I used this water bottle to help remind me to keep drinking my water.
It’s also great to use when you’re breastfeeding. Drinking lots of water while breastfeeding is super important, too! They come in different sizes & colors, so pick your favorite!
4. Leggings
For some reason, when I’m pregnant and try to wear the typical over-the-bump leggings, they make my belly itch so bad! I’ve tried different brands, different materials, you name it, and these leggings were the ones that finally worked for me!
They don’t go over the bump, so there was no itching! They are made to fit easily around your bump and are so comfortable! I was so happy when I finally found these leggings!
5. Belly Cream
Having something for your belly to help with itching and stretch marks is a must!
I loved but something as simple as coconut oil will work just as well!
6. Antacid
The third trimester is riddled with all kinds of new feelings! One for me was heartburn so Tums were a must.
If you’re looking for a cleaner option, this is a great brand!
7. Pregnancy Pillow
Having a pregnancy pillow was a game-changer when it came to sleep for me.
I didn’t have one with my first pregnancy and had the absolute worst time trying to get comfortable at night. I decided it couldn’t hurt to try one for my second pregnancy, and I’m glad I did!
It’s not a magic pillow, so don’t expect to get your best sleep with it, but it does make sleeping in the third trimester a little more manageable.
Pregnancy has its good and not-so-good moments, but try to enjoy it because it’ll be over before you know it!
